Before founding the studio in 2022, Anna built more than ten years of experience in fashion, including a career at SOMA (the apparel group that owns FARM Rio) and time running her own womenswear brand. She knows how a print moves through a collection and into production. It has to be commercially viable, not just beautiful.

Anna is the founder and design lead. Her point of view shapes the artwork and the conversation around it. She is personally involved in every project, ensuring the highest standards and unique designs are delivered to our customers.

Who's behind the studio

Anna Mendes

Anna leads a team of more than 10 print designers and stays involved in every project. Before founding it, she ran a womenswear label and worked at SOMA, the group behind FARM Rio, where she saw how design decisions affect collections, production and sales.

She brings together designers with different styles and techniques, proposes new directions to explore, and guides the final artwork. Through experiments with color, motifs and composition, she helps the team create distinctive prints with the refinement each collection calls for.

Gui Miranda

Gui brings 12 years in tech to the studio, with experience at giants such as IBM, as well as in fast-growing startups.

He brings a scientific lens to the creative work, interpreting data from multiple sources to help Anna and the design team make informed decisions. This data-driven approach helps the studio understand what works, refine its print collections and pursue better results for the brands it works with.
